Jason Vacker

He oversees all aspects of the company’s 2.5 million-square-foot portfolio, including leasing, asset management, construction, and operations.

Under Jason’s leadership, Meringoff Properties has completed several notable projects, including the restoration of 462 Broadway and its lease to Jerusalem Venture Partners, which established international cybersecurity and climate technology hubs in New York City. This transaction was recognized by AFRMC as Commercial Real Estate Deal of the Year. The firm also redeveloped 8 Times Square and secured a flagship lease with Foot Locker, earning REBNY’s Most Significant Retail Deal of the Year.

Jason is actively engaged in New York City’s civic and business communities. He serves as Treasurer of the Flatiron NoMad Partnership and sits on the boards of the Times Square Alliance and the SoHo Broadway Initiative. He is a former board member of YM/WREA and is a member of REBNY and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

He is also deeply involved in community initiatives, supporting organizations focused on public safety, streetscape improvements, and neighborhood advocacy. Jason is a founding member of the Eric J. Bader Foundation, which provides opportunities for young athletes in underserved communities, and supports Hit the Books, an organization dedicated to expanding educational resources in Harlem.

Jason earned his BBA in Finance, Investment, and Banking from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He lives in New York City with his wife, Jill, and their two sons, and is an active member of the Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School community.
