Andrea Himmel

Prior to joining H+M, Ms. Himmel founded Revere Resources, an energy-focused private equity fund with $300 million of assets under management (Fund II), after realizing a 3x multiple on invested capital on Fund I.

Before founding Revere Resources, Ms. Himmel spent seven years at Sanders Capital, a value-oriented global investment manager with $60 billion of AUM. Although a generalist, she also specialized in Sanders’ energy investment portfolio.

Ms. Himmel serves as the Secretary of The Executive Committee of The Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity New York City and as Treasurer of the Executive Committee of the Board of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, she serves on the Diversity Committee for the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and is M/WBE Certified. Ms. Himmel is a frequent speaker at major industry events on a variety of topics.

While attending the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business as an undergraduate, Ms. Himmel concentrated her studies in real estate and was in the Joseph Wharton Scholars’ Honors Program. As an undergraduate, she worked in real estate private equity at Lubert Adler Real Estate Funds and in real estate debt securitization at Morgan Stanley. Upon graduation, Ms. Himmel worked for Brookfield Property Partners in the acquisitions and leasing groups.
